Around the world, automotive OEMs rely on Sing Color to deliver performance and exceptional color palettes. From superior corrosion protection of our electrocoats to lush basecoat colors and protective clearcoats, our goal is to create a beautiful finish that will endure under the toughest weather and road conditions. Leading color technology and design expertise are used to create colors that enable OEMs to provide car buyers with vibrant and beautiful choices year after year.
For over a century, Sing Color has honed the technology of developing primers, colorful basecoats, and protective clearcoats that have styled generations of vehicles.
We understand that color affects emotion and can often be a significant factor in choosing a vehicle. For decades, Sing Color has developed thousands of basecoat products and effects to connect car buyers with color. Whether using Sing Color’s paints or other special effect coatings, our basecoats provide unparalleled durability, color, and beauty.
Formulated especially for use as part of Sing Color’s waterborne and solventborne 3-Wet Harmonized Coating Technology system, our pre-coats provide the foundation for great appearance and durability. The pre-coat technology is intended to aid wet-on-wet layering and requires only a single curing step that is designed to reduce energy costs and increase line productivity. Application can even eliminate the capital investment for ovens that are required for traditional high-temperature cured primer. Sing Color’s 3-Wet system can provide physical properties, such as scratch and mar resistance, and appearance that rival conventional systems.
Sing Color primers offer optimized film smoothness and excellent adhesion properties. Our products protect substrates and offer chip resistance while providing a smooth surface across multiple materials for either separate basecoat plus clearcoat systems or single application monocoats.
